Camper Storage Policies
Storage fees are $246 quarterly, quarters beginning in January, April, July, and October. Any camper being placed into storage will be subject to a minimum $82 storage fee (non-refundable). Campers being placed into storage during a month will be charged on a pro-rated basis to the first of the following month on the basis of per week and then on a per month basis to the first month of the following quarter.
In order to have your storage camper pulled on site, you must make reservations and contact the main office at 1-877-510-1413 no later than two days prior to your arrival.
No one is authorized to request your camper be placed on-site except you, unless there has been prior notice to the main office, via an authorized users list, or a reservation with written or oral permission from you the owner.
While the camper is in storage, OLFC shall have no liability for any loss or damage to the camper for any cause (including, but not limited to, theft, fire, hail, windstorm, flood, the malicious or negligent acts of third persons) unless said loss or damage to the camper from any cause except OLFC’s sole negligence. OLFC urges you to carry adequate insurance on your camper for property damage.
Check-out time is 11:00 am and Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Every effort will be made to have your storage camper on site as soon as possible. However, OLFC cannot guarantee that a storage camper will be on-site when you arrive. Storage campers cannot be placed on occupied sites until the camper checks out or until after the 11:00 am check-out time. If you plan to arrive early in the day, you may wish to reserve your site one day early as the camper will be placed on-site during the day of your reservation date.
Please note regarding last-minute plans: A $50 Late Storage Reservation Fee will apply to storage requests for same-day service. Fee applies to reservation line calls and walk-in storage campers. A $50 fee will be charged to take a storage camper to another campground or facility.
Trying to Get Your Storage Camper on Site Faster…
In an effort to better serve our Ocean Lakes’ camper storage guests, we will be streamlining some of our current services. This will allow us to concentrate our attention on our growing camper storage facility and our dedicated Ocean Lakes storage guests. The Ocean Lakes Storage team will only pull to another local campground (within a 3-mile radius) if we are 100% full and no site options are available at OL (ex: site-to-site moves).
These local campgrounds include Lakewood and Pirateland. There will be a $100 round trip pull fee in the event that OL is 100% full and our storage guest elects to camp at one of our 3 neighboring campgrounds (even if we are 100% full).
This policy clarification became necessary because our storage team began spending a tremendous amount of time and effort pulling campers to other parks upon request, impacting service to storage guests staying in our park. Our ultimate goal is to better serve our “Ocean Lakes” storage guests. Our Storage & Transport facility is a service provided exclusively for our dedicated Ocean Lakes campers.
