Ocean Lakes Family Campground utilizes both written and online surveys, along with social media, to monitor our guests’ experiences. Our online consumer survey is via the GuestRated™ satisfaction survey of independent parks. Ocean Lakes has received an “A” grade for outstanding customer service and amenities 9 times! This detailed survey helps us know what we are doing well, and where we need to improve.
Most online surveys typically give consumers the ability to post their comments, many online survey forms ask consumers to rate only a few things, like value, location, cleanliness and service. GuestRated.com, by contrast, solicits consumer feedback on 55 different guest satisfaction questions in addition to providing consumers the ability to post written comments and suggestions.
We encourage guests to pick up one of our Ocean Lakes Magazines while visiting, look for our written “self mailer” survey in the back of the magazine. Both the written and online surveys are important and the feedback is utilized by our teammates and management. In December, we compile all the magazine and online surveys and pull one lucky winner for a free week of camping!
