Ocean Lakes Family Campground began in 1971 with a handful of "teammates" and a few campsites. As the park has grown over the years, our operation has become more complex. Ocean Lakes has become the largest oceanfront campground in the United States.   Today, Ocean Lakes employs about 170 year around teammates, and an additional 125 seasonal teammates. Many of our teammates began as guests! They loved it here so much they moved in and helped us become the three time winner of the "National RV Park of the Year" awarded by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC).

Ocean Lakes Family Campground is a great place to work!  We aren't just saying that - our teammates (employees) told us so. Every year Ocean Lakes holds its annual Job Fair.  This is a great opportunity for potential teammates to apply for a seasonal position.  We always try and make it a fun event for every applicant.  It allows our Managers to meet applicants and discuss the openings they have in their department. Outstanding Teammates Program
All of the Outstanding Teammates and annual Service Awards are recognized at The Jackson Companies’ Annual Awards Breakfast held at Prestwick Country Club.

Outstanding Teammate
The Jackson Companies, which includes Prestwick Golf & Country Club, Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Ocean Lakes Properties, Crystal Lake Mobile Home Village, and Ocean Lakes RV Center, recognize its Outstanding Teammates on an annual basis. With more than 200 year around teammates and more than 220 seasonal teammates, it is an honor to be recognized as one of The Jackson Companies’ "Outstanding Teammates."   The Outstanding Teammates receive an additional week of pay, a plaque, and a starfish paperweight.

Teammate of the Year
All teammates who are rated as outstanding by their manager on their December evaluation are eligible for the "Nelson & Mary Emily Jackson Teammate of the Year." The Nelson and Mary Emily Jackson Teammate of the Year received one week’s pay, a plaque, and a cruise with spending money valued at $3500. The teammate will be paid for time away from work during the cruise.
