Campsite Discounts
Ocean Lakes does offer a few discounts throughout the year.  We do not honor membership club discounts.  We feel that our rates are very fair providing our guests with a value.  However, we do offer discounts to senior citizens and for extended stay guests.  Some discounts are not available from May 15 until Labor Day Weekend, due to occupancy levels.

Weekly Discount:  We offer $1 off per night for guests staying up to 7 nights, excluding May 15 until Labor Day weekend.

Senior Discount:  We offer $1 off per night for our senior citizen guests.  There is no minimum stay for this discount, however it excludes May 15 until Labor Day.

Monthly Escalating Discount: For guests who stay 28 days or more, we offer a special discount.  During summer months, the maximum discount for 28 days or more is $2 per day.  However, from Labor Day weekend until the next May, we offer $2 off per day for the 1st 28 days; $3 off per day for the 2nd 28 days; $4 off per day for the 3rd 28 days; and $5 off per day for the 4th 28 days and each month after that.

90 Day Tax Advantage: Guests who make a reservation for 90 days or more can deduct the 11% sales tax if they pay for 90 days or more all at one time, potentially saving the guest hundreds of dollars.
SC Tax savings example: A winter guest staying 90 days (in 2004-05) on an oceanfront site would save $195.30 in taxes by paying the 90 day balance of $1,953.00 at one time. A guest staying for 90 days during the summer peak season (in 2004) would save $445.50 in taxes by paying the 90 day balance of $4,455.00 at one time.
