Ocean Lakes Family Campground has something going on everyday! We leave the calendars up all year long so you can see what kind of activities we offer when you are planning on visiting. Generally, the monthly calendars are updated a few weeks prior to the upcoming month. The activities are generated through the Recreation Department.

Family Scavenger Hunt
Tuesdays at 7 pm & Saturday September 2nd at 3 pm
Meet us in the Recreation Building to pick up your list of questions.  The answers can be found within the campground.  Golf cars, bicycles, or cars are recommended, but not mandatory.  Prizes to winners!  No fee.    

Fish Fry-day and Entertainment
Fridays at 6 pm.  Enjoy founder, cole slaw, french fries, and a drink, along with
bingo and/or other entertainment.  $5 per person. Meet at Sandy’s Meet n’ Eat.

Family Night at Dixie Stampede
Enjoy Dixie Stampede at a discounted rate on Wednesday nights.  Ocean Lakes offers a special Family Night rate only on Wednesday nights.  Seats are limited so reserve your spot at the Recreation Office no later than Tuesday at 3 pm.

Gospel Weekend
Join us in the Recreation Building for the following concerts:  All shows begin at 8 pm.

Fall Craft Fair
Saturday,  September 22nd 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Held in the Rec. Bldg.  Vendor spaces still available - inquire at the Recreation Office.  The general public can attend the Craft Fair by paying $3 at the Main Gate; proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.

Horseshoe Tournament
Our Ocean Lakes Teammate will explain our game rules. All participants are expected to play by our rules.  Meet at the horseshoe pits. No Fee.

Pool Games
An hour of poolside games - great fun for the entire family.

Cool Crafts
Please sign your child up in the Recreation Office.  A materials fee is required.  All classes meet in the Recreation Building room A.

Jr. Mini Golf Tournament
Meet at the Sandy Harbor Mini Golf Course.  No fee.

Kids Ceramics
Please sign your child up in the Rec. Office.  All classes meet in the Rec. Bldg. room C.  $5.00 per piece.

Cardboard Boat Regatta
Teams will design boats using supplied materials. Then we'll see how well they float. Meet in the Recreation Room located in the Recreation Building. No Fee.

Name That Tune Game Show
How many notes will it take your family to name that tune? Meet in the Recreation Room located in the Recreation Building. No Fee.

Water Aerobics
Join our qualified instructor for a class of aerobic conditioning, toning, exercises, and movement for rehab and arthritis.  All levels are welcome.  No fee.  (No water aerobics from 9/13-9/18.)

Exercise Class
Start your day off in a healthy way!  Low impact aerobic classes are held in the Recreation Building.  No fee. (No class from 9/13-9/18.)

Coffee and News
Start the morning with a cup of coffee and the daily news.  Newspapers are available for reading in the Recreation Building.  No fee.  (Begins September 10th)

Adult Mini Golf
Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 9 am - Meet at the Mini Golf course for our tournament.  Prizes to winners.

Family Ceramics Class
Monday-Thursday at 10 am - Recreation Building, Room C.  Class fee is $1.50 plus the cost of bisqueware.

Bingo
Monday and Wednesday nights at 7 pm in the Recreation Building.  We will play 10 games with prizes going to the winners.  Limit one card per person.  No fee.  (Bingo will begin at 8 pm on Monday, September 3rd.)

RECREATION AMENITIES
Shuffleboard, basketball, ping pong, volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, cards, board games and bike rentals are available for your enjoyment. All equipment may be checked out in the Recreation Office.

CHILD I.D. WRISTBANDS
I.D. Wristbands are available in the Recreation Office. Parents are welcome to stop by the Recreation Office and pick up wristbands for their children. These colorful wristbands are
printed with the name of the campground on them and will help identify children as Ocean Lakes campers should they become lost. Wristbands are free of charge.
