Ocean Lakes Family Campground has something going on everyday! We leave the calendars up all year long so you can see what kind of activities we offer when you are planning on visiting. Generally, the monthly calendars are updated a few weeks prior to the upcoming month. The activities are generated through the Recreation Department.

Thanksgiving Events.......

Kids Crafts
2 pm
Wednesday, Scarecrow Magnet $1.50
Thursday, Handprint Santa Decoration $2.00
Friday, Cookie Plates for Santa $3.00

Sign your child up in the Recreation Office to participate. Pay at time of class.

Turkey Bingo
Monday at 7 pm
We’ll play 10 games of bingo. The grand prize will be a turkey! 1 card per person. No fee.

Thanksgiving Bingo
Wednesday at 7 pm
Our prizes will be items that can help with your Thanksgiving Feast! 1 card per person. No fee.

Pie Bingo
Thursday at 4 pm
Lucky ten winners will receive a pie as a prize. Limit one card per person. No Fee.

Karaoke
Friday at 6:30 pm
Join Betty in the Recreation Center for Karaoke. No fee.

Breakfast with Santa
Saturday 9 am
We’ll provide donuts and juice for children, and coffee for adults. Ha Ha the Clown will be available for face painting, and Santa will be popping in for pictures. Don’t forget your camera! No fee.

Family Scavenger Hunt and Turkey Search
Saturday 2 pm
Meet in the Recreation Center to get the rules and clues. We have a list of questions for you to answer while you’re searching for the plastic turkeys. Golf cars or cars are recommended but not required. Prizes to winners. No fee.

Tree Trimming & Entertainment
Saturday at 7 pm
Come help us decorate our tree. Bring an ornament or pick from our collection. Entertainment to be announced.

Daily/Weekly Activities for November

Muscle Conditioning
See calendar for dates at 8 am - Start the day off in a healthy way. Low impact aerobic classes are held in the Recreation Building.

Water Aerobics
See calendar for dates at 8 am - Indoor Pool. Join our qualified instructor for a class of aerobic conditioning, toning exercises, and movement for rehab and arthritis. All levels are welcome. Please. enter thru gate located between Recreation Building. and Arcade.

Adult Mini Golf
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday , 9 am - Meet at the putt-putt course for our mini golf tournament. Prizes to winners.

Coffee and News
Monday - Friday , 9 am- Start the day with a cup of coffee and the daily news in the Recreation Building. Papers available for reading.

Family Ceramic Class
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday ,10 am- Ceramics classes are held in the Recreation Building, Room C. Class fee is $1.50 plus cost of items you choose to paint. There will be a class Friday.

Bingo
Monday and Wednesday nights at 7 pm in the Recreation Building. We will play 10 games with prizes going to the winners. Limit one card per person. No fee.

Fish Fry-day Night and Entertainment
Every Friday night at 6 pm at Sandy's Meet-n-Eat. Enjoy flounder, cole slaw, French fries, and a drink, along with bingo (minimum of 25 people for bingo). $5.00 per person. No bingo 11/14 or 11/28.

Family Scavenger Hunt
Tuesdays at 7 pm. There will also be some items for you to pick up along the way. Prizes to winners. No fee

Miniature Golf & Sandy Harbor Game Hours

Recreation Amenities
Shuffleboard, basketball, ping pong, volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, cards and board games are available for your enjoyment. All equipment may be checked out in the Recreation Office and must be returned by 8:30 pm on the same day.

Discount Show and Attraction Tickets
Discount tickets and reservations for many of the Grand Strand's finest attractions are available in the Recreation Office. Tickets are available for Prestwick Golf & Country Club, Movie theaters, The Palace, Legends in Concert, Alabama Theater, The Dixie Stampede, The Carolina Opry, Medieval Times, and Ripley's Aquarium
