Ocean Lakes Family Campground has something going on everyday! We leave the calendars up all year long so you can see what kind of activities we offer when you are planning on visiting. Generally, the monthly calendars are updated a few weeks prior to the upcoming month. The activities are generated through the Recreation Department.

Every thing kicks into high gear during the summer months at Ocean Lakes Family Campground. June, July and part of August feature our Summer Activities calendar. You'll find something for everyone in your family - no matter the age.

Water Aerobics
Join our qualified instructor for a class of aerobic conditioning, toning, exercises, and movement for rehab and arthritis.  All levels are welcome.  No fee.  
 
Coffee and News
Start the morning with a cup of coffee and the daily news. Newspapers are available for reading in the Recreation bldg.  No fee.  
 
Adult Mini Golf
Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10 am – Meet at the mini golf course for our tournament.  Prizes to winners.
 
Family Ceramics Class
Recreation Building, Room C.  Class fee is $1.50 plus the cost of bisqueware.
 
Fish Fry-day and Entertainment
Friday at 6 pm.  Enjoy flounder, coleslaw, french fries, and a drink, along with bingo and/or other entertainment.  $5.00 per person.  Meet at Sandy’s Meet-n-Eat.   
 
Wet and Wild Pool Games
Join us at the pool for an hour of poolside fun and games for the entire family.  No fee.
 
Family Scavenger Hunt
Meet us in the Rec. Bldg. to pick up your clues, then take a trip throughout the campground.  Golf cars are recommended, but not required.

Some special activities to note:

Three Day Ocean Lakes Surf Camp
Learn the “Sport of the Kings” this summer at Ocean Lakes Surf Camp. Surf Campers will get instruction in safety, surf, etiquette, coastal and marine ecology, surfboard shaving and a visit to the Village Surf Shoppe. The camp includes three days of surfing instruction, all equipment will be supplied and no previous experience required. Must be a strong swimmer. For ages 10-16. Limited to 8 participants. Cost is $75 per person. Sign up in the Recreation Office.

Sandy’s Down Under (SDU) Skate Park
10 AM - 10 PM daily. Free Skating- Half pipe and ramps located under Observation Deck. Helmets and all pads must be worn while skating.
