11th Annual Premier Bluegrass Weekend
Friday & Saturday, August 28 & 29, 2009
Hear some of the top Bluegrass Bands featuring Rhonda Vincent & The Rage & The Grascals, IIIrd Tyme Out, Blue Highway, The Bluegrass Strangers, The James King Band and The Harvest Wind Band! Wristbands are $40 per adult for both days of show plus site fee, children 6-12 are $20, under 6- free.

Adult Mini Golf - Quit puttin’ around & join us! Meet at Sandy Harbor Mni Golf. No Fee.

Amazing Race - Meet in the Recreation Building to play the Ocean Lakes version. Golf Cars or cars are recommended but not required. Prizes to winners! No Fee.

Bingo - 20 games of fun family Bingo in the Recreation Building. Play as many games as you like. Limit 1 card per person. No Fee.

Cardboard Boat Regatta - Deign boats using supplied materials & then we’ll see how well they float! Meet in the Recreation Building. No Fee.

Corn Toss Tournament - Join us behind the Recreation Building to play this popular tailgating game. We’ll play by our rules. Prizes to winners! No Fee.

Dive in Movie - Bring a float to the outdoor pool and watch High School Musical 3 on the big screen! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pool is open only for movie, no free swimming. In case of inclement
weather, movie will be cancelled.

Family Ceramics - 10 am - 12 pm. Meet in the Recreation Building room C. There is a class fee of $1.50 plus cost of bisqueware. Acrylics only, no glazing. (ages 12 & up).

Family Dance - Friday 7 pm - 8:30 pm. Join us for a dance party in the Recreation Building. We’ll play beach music, country, etc. No Fee.

Family Tye Dying - Wednesday, August 19th & Monday, August 24th at 4 pm. $7 per person. Deadline to sign up is 1pm on the day of the event. T-shirt sizes are reserved on a first come, first serve basis so sign up in advance!

Fishing Derby - Bring your pole and we supply the bait! Meet at fishing dock behind the Recreation Building. No Fee.

Guitar Hero Tournament - How good of a guitarist are you? Only 16 spots available per day for our Guitar Hero Tournament. The list fills fast so sign up early in the Rec.reation Office.

Hawaiian Fire & Hula Show - Purchase your tickets today to see Chief Kamu and his Ohana in the show! Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children and should be purchased in advance. Hawaiian attire is encouraged. Show does not include dinner.

Hawaiian Lei Making w/ Chief Kamu - Join Chief Kamu in the Recreation Building for a lesson on the art of lei making. Cost is $5 for an authentic lei. Space is limited, so sign up in the Recreation Office in advance.

Sandsculpting Contest - Tuesday, 4 pm is judging. Be Creative! Build in front of Observation Deck. Must be present for judging.

Surf Camp - 3 Days: Ocean Lakes has partnered with Billabong Surf Camp. Surf Campers will get instruction in safety, surf etiquette, coastal and marine ecology, and surfboard shaping using Billabong’s equipment. The camp includes three days of surfing instruction and a bag of Billabong loot. No previous experience required. Must be a strong swimmer. For ages 10 - 16. Space is limited so sign up today! Cost is $75 per person
and must be paid prior to class. Two camps per week, Monday - Wednesday & Wednesday - Friday. Sign up in the Recreation Office. Exceptions for age requirements, please inquire in the Recreation Office

Teen Dance - Friday, 8:30 pm - 10 pm. Join DJ Kaotic for a dance party in the Recreation Building. We’ll play top 40, hip hop, etc. Edited songs. No Fee.

Water Aerobics - 8 am Meet in the indoor pool. No Fee.

Worship Service - 9 am Join us for our Non-denominational Worship Service in the Recreation Building. Children’s Church and Sunday School are available during the Worship Service

Yogacise Class - Saturday, 8 am. Classes are held in the Recreation Building. No Fee.
